Possible Causes
Burned-out halogen or incandescent bulb, Faulty light socket, Failed light relay on control board, Broken light switch (if manual switch present)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool. Glass bulbs can be hot and fragile.
Steps:
- Remove the light lens cover inside the oven (often twists off) and inspect the bulb.
- Replace the bulb with the correct Wolf-specified oven bulb (high-temperature rated).
- If the new bulb does not light, test the light socket for voltage when the light is commanded on (qualified persons only).
- Inspect wiring to the socket and the light relay on the control board.
Corrective actions:
- Replace a faulty light socket if it is loose, corroded, or has no continuity.
- If the socket and wiring are good but no power is supplied, the control board light relay may have failed and the board should be replaced.
