Possible Causes
Shorted heating element to chassis, Pinched or melted wiring, Faulty terminal block, Internal short in control or relay board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips immediately; locate and correct the fault first.
Steps:
- Turn off power and inspect the bake and broil elements for spots where the sheath has contacted the oven liner.
- Check wiring behind the rear panel for melted insulation or wires touching the metal chassis.
- Inspect the terminal block for burned connections.
Corrective actions:
- Replace any shorted element or damaged wiring using high-temperature wire.
- If no external shorts are found, the relay/power board may have an internal short and should be replaced.
