How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing the control panel.
- Clean button area: Wipe the control panel surface with a damp cloth to remove grease and dirt. Do not saturate with water.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the keypad ribbon cable connection to the control board. Reseat it firmly.
- Dry moisture: If there are signs of moisture inside the panel, allow it to dry completely in a warm, dry area before reassembly.
- Replace keypad or panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the control panel or keypad assembly with a Char‑Broil compatible part.
