Char-Broil
Flame-Out During Cook
Grill ignites but then goes out after 5–15 minutes; temperature drops and pellets stop burning

Possible Causes
Inconsistent pellet feed from auger, Wet or poor‑quality pellets, Excessive ash buildup in fire pot, Weak combustion fan airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the grill off and allow it to cool before cleaning or disassembly.
- Clean fire pot thoroughly: Remove grates and diffuser. Vacuum ash and debris from the fire pot and surrounding area. Ensure air holes are clear.
- Check pellet quality: Replace any questionable pellets with fresh, dry pellets stored in a sealed container.
- Observe auger feed: With the hopper full, run the grill and watch pellet movement. If pellets feed intermittently or not at all, inspect the auger for partial jams or motor issues.
- Verify fan operation: Confirm that the fan runs continuously during the cook. If airflow is weak, clean or replace the fan assembly.
- Avoid frequent lid opening: Opening the lid repeatedly can disrupt combustion and cause flame‑outs. Use the lid thermometer or digital display instead of lifting the lid often.
