Safety first: Allow the grill to cool completely before handling greasy components.

• Level the grill: Use a level to ensure the grill is slightly pitched toward the grease bucket side. Adjust caster heights or place shims under legs if needed.
• Clean grease path: Remove grates and drip tray. Scrape and clean the drip tray, grease channel, and drain opening. Ensure the drain tube to the bucket is clear.
• Inspect drip tray: Check for warping or incorrect orientation. Reinstall according to the Gourmet Grillson manual, ensuring it fully covers the firebox and directs grease to the drain.
• Replace damaged parts: If the grease drain tube is cracked or missing, replace it with a compatible Gourmet Grillson grease drain assembly.
