How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the grill before opening the control panel.

  • Dry the panel: If the grill was exposed to heavy rain, allow the control panel to dry for several hours in a dry environment. Do not use heat guns directly on electronics.
  • Inspect connections: Remove the control panel cover. Check the ribbon cable or harness between the display/keypad and the main board. Reseat connectors firmly.
  • Check for corrosion: Look for green or white corrosion on connectors or the board. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with electronics cleaner and a soft brush.
  • Test operation: Reassemble, plug in, and test buttons/dial. If Er07 persists and inputs are unresponsive, the keypad/display module may be defective.

Replace the user interface (display/keypad) module if reseating cables does not restore function. If a new interface does not resolve Er07, the main control board likely needs replacement.
