Cold Weather Performance Issue
Grill shuts down or errors specifically in very cold weather.

Possible Causes
Insufficient preheat time, Low mains voltage under load, Temperature probe reading affected by cold, Heat loss through thin walls
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use caution when operating electrical appliances outdoors in extreme conditions.
- Use an insulated cover: Install an Outdoorchef thermal blanket or insulation jacket if available for your model.
- Allow extra preheat: Give the grill more time to reach set temperature before cooking.
- Check power source: Avoid long, thin extension cords that can cause voltage drop in cold conditions.
If the grill still fails in cold weather while other appliances work fine on the same circuit, the control board or sensor calibration may need service.
