Grill temperature reading is obviously wrong (e.g., shows 200°C when the grill is barely warm).

Safety first: Unplug the grill before handling wiring.

• Clean the probe: Gently wipe the temperature probe with a damp cloth to remove heavy soot and grease.
• Check mounting: Ensure the probe is firmly attached to the grill wall and not bent or touching other metal parts.
• Inspect wiring: Follow the probe cable to the control box. Look for kinks, cuts, or melted sections. Reseat the connector.
• Compare with external thermometer: Use a reliable grill thermometer to compare readings. If the built-in reading is far off, replace the RTD probe.

If a new probe does not correct the readings, the control board's sensor circuit may be faulty.
