Pump runs but flow is weak and filter pressure is lower than normal

Safety first: Turn off power and close valves before disassembling the pump.

• 1. Clean baskets: Empty the Espa pump prefilter basket and all skimmer baskets. Even partial blockage can significantly reduce flow.
• 2. Check valves: Confirm that all suction and return valves are fully open.
• 3. Inspect impeller: Remove the pump wet end from the motor and access the impeller. Remove hair, leaves, or other debris from the impeller eye and vanes.
• 4. Examine impeller and diffuser: Look for worn or eroded vanes and cracks in the diffuser. Replace worn components with Espa original parts to restore performance.
