Pump runs but there is a constant stream of air bubbles from the pool return jets

Possible Causes
Leaking pump lid O-ring, Loose suction union, Air leak at skimmer or vacuum hose, Low water level causing vortex
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the pump before opening any part of the suction line.
- 1. Raise water level: Ensure the pool water level is high enough to prevent vortexing at the skimmer.
- 2. Check vacuum hoses: If using a vacuum hose, inspect for pinholes or loose connections that can draw air.
- 3. Service lid O-ring: Clean, lubricate, or replace the Espa pump lid O-ring as needed.
- 4. Tighten suction fittings: Hand-tighten unions and check for leaks around threaded fittings. Reseal with PTFE tape if necessary.
