Pump runs but water appears cloudy and filtration seems ineffective despite normal pressure

Safety first: Normal operation adjustments can be made with the pump running; no internal electrical work should be done live.

• 1. Increase run time: Adjust the timer so the Espa pump runs long enough each day (often 8–12 hours depending on pool size and conditions).
• 2. Adjust speed: On variable-speed Espa pumps, increase the filtration speed to improve turnover while monitoring energy use.
• 3. Check for partial blockage: Clean baskets and inspect the impeller for debris that may be reducing flow.
• 4. Verify filter condition: Ensure the filter media is clean and in good condition; replace sand or cartridges if exhausted.
