Water leaking from the clear pump lid area when the pump is running

Safety first: Turn off the pump before removing the lid.

• 1. Clean sealing surfaces: Remove the lid and O-ring. Clean the groove and mating surface on the Espa pump housing, removing sand and debris.
• 2. Inspect O-ring: Check for cuts, flattening, or hardening. Replace with a genuine Espa O-ring if any damage is found.
• 3. Inspect lid: Examine the clear lid for hairline cracks around the threads or handle. Replace if cracked.
• 4. Lubricate and reinstall: Apply a thin film of silicone-based lubricant to the O-ring, seat it properly, and reinstall the lid hand-tight. Do not use tools to overtighten.
