Possible Causes

Pump configured for 50 Hz but supplied with 60 Hz (or vice versa), Incorrect jumper settings on terminal block, Wrong voltage selection on dual‑voltage motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and verify the pump cannot start while you work.

  • Check nameplate: Read the Saci pump motor nameplate for rated voltage and frequency (e.g. 230 V 50 Hz). Confirm your supply matches these values.
  • Inspect jumpers: On dual‑voltage or configurable motors, verify that the terminal jumpers are set according to the wiring diagram under the terminal cover.
  • Correct wiring: If the pump was recently rewired, compare each connection to the Saci installation manual. Correct any mis‑wiring.
  • Reset controller: Some variable‑speed models allow setting the mains frequency in the menu. Ensure it matches your local grid.

If E08 persists with correct wiring and settings, the internal controller may be faulty and require replacement.
