E15
Saci
Priming Failure / Dry‑Run Protection
Pump shows E15 and cannot detect priming, shuts down after a short run

Possible Causes
Air leak on suction side, Pump installed above water level without proper priming, Low water level in pool, Blocked suction line or skimmer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the pump lid or valves.
- Check water level: Ensure the pool water level is at least halfway up the skimmer opening so the skimmer does not draw air.
- Prime the pump: Close suction and return valves. Remove the Saci pump lid, fill the strainer housing completely with water, replace the lid, then open valves.
- Inspect for air leaks: Check the pump lid O‑ring for cracks or dirt; clean and lubricate with silicone grease. Tighten unions on the suction side and inspect for cracks in fittings.
- Clear suction line: Remove skimmer basket and any suction‑side cleaners. Use a hose or plumbing snake to clear obstructions if flow is restricted.
After correcting issues, restart the pump and watch for a solid water flow. If E15 continues, the dry‑run sensor or control logic may be faulty.
