Pump motor is extremely hot to the touch but continues running

Safety first: Turn off the pump and allow it to cool before touching the motor casing.

• Improve ventilation: Clear debris from around the motor, ensure the cooling fan cover is unobstructed, and provide shade if the pump is in direct sun.
• Reduce load: On variable‑speed Saci pumps, lower the operating speed or duty cycle to reduce heating.
• Check run time: Avoid running the pump 24/7 at maximum speed unless specified by Saci for your model.

If the motor remains excessively hot under normal conditions, internal cooling or windings may be compromised; consider motor replacement.
