Possible Causes

Dry‑run or overload protection repeatedly triggering, Loose power connection, Faulty pressure/flow sensor (if equipped), Undersized power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and do not allow the pump to continue rapid cycling; this can damage the motor and electronics.

  • Check water supply: Ensure the pump is fully primed and that suction and return valves are open. Eliminate any air leaks.
  • Inspect wiring: Tighten all power and control connections in the terminal box and at the breaker.
  • Bypass external controls: Temporarily disconnect external automation or pressure switches and run the pump in local/manual mode to see if cycling stops.
  • Monitor current draw: A technician can measure current to determine if overload protection is tripping due to mechanical issues.

If cycling persists in manual mode with good hydraulics, the internal control PCB may be defective.
