Possible Causes

Liquid spill on touch controls, Object (cloth, utensil) covering control area, Stuck or damaged touch sensor on glass, Faulty touch control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Immediate steps:

  • Switch the hob off using the main power key if possible.
  • Wipe the entire control area with a soft, dry cloth to remove water, grease, or food.
  • Remove any objects resting on the control panel (towels, lids, utensils).
  • Turn the hob off at the mains for 2–3 minutes, then restore power.

If Er03 persists:

  • Inspect the glass over the control area for cracks or damage; a cracked glass can cause false touches and must be replaced.
  • If the glass is intact and clean, the touch control PCB may have a stuck sensor or internal fault.
  • Replacement of the control PCB (and possibly the glass top if bonded) should be done by a qualified technician.
