Possible Causes
Liquid spill under control knobs, Stuck microswitch on gas tap, Shorted ignition wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Gas and electrical safety: Turn all burner knobs to OFF. Unplug the hob or switch off power to the ignition system.
Drying and cleaning:
- Remove the control knobs and gently dry the area around the ignition microswitches with a cloth.
- Allow the hob to air dry for several hours if a large spill occurred.
- Do not use a hairdryer or heat gun directly on plastic parts.
If F3 or continuous clicking persists after drying:
- A microswitch may be stuck closed or the wiring harness may be shorted.
- Accessing and replacing the switch requires removing the hob top and should be done by a qualified technician.
