Possible Causes

Incorrect timer programming, Faulty touch control PCB, Firmware glitch, Defective buzzer or output driver

User checks:

Review the user manual to ensure the timer is set for the correct zone and in the correct mode (minute minder vs auto switch-off).
Test the timer with a short duration (1–2 minutes) and observe if the zone power changes.
Reset the hob by turning off power for 2–3 minutes.

If the timer still does not control the zones, the control PCB may have a logic or output fault and should be replaced by a technician.
