Possible Causes
Incorrect timer programming, Faulty touch control PCB, Firmware glitch, Defective buzzer or output driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
User checks:
- Review the user manual to ensure the timer is set for the correct zone and in the correct mode (minute minder vs auto switch-off).
- Test the timer with a short duration (1–2 minutes) and observe if the zone power changes.
- Reset the hob by turning off power for 2–3 minutes.
If the timer still does not control the zones, the control PCB may have a logic or output fault and should be replaced by a technician.
