Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and main board, Moisture on control surface, Failed touch control PCB, Faulty main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the hob. Avoid spilling liquids on the control area.

  • Dry the surface: Wipe the glass control area thoroughly and allow it to dry for at least 30 minutes. Moisture can cause false errors.
  • Power reset: Turn off the hob at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power and check if E07 clears.
  • Inspect connections: Remove the hob and open the underside cover. Locate the flat ribbon cable from the touch control PCB to the main board. Reseat both ends carefully, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
  • Check for corrosion: Look for signs of liquid ingress on the touch PCB and connectors. If corrosion is present, replace the touch control panel PCB.
  • Board replacement: If connections are sound and E07 persists, either the touch PCB or the main control board is defective. Replace the suspected board, starting with the touch panel as it is more commonly at fault.
