Possible Causes
Incorrect mains connection (single vs. two-phase), Loose terminal block connections, Low or high line voltage, Damaged power supply section on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the cooker switch and verify the circuit is dead before opening the terminal cover.
- Check wiring configuration: Remove the rear or underside terminal cover and compare the wiring links to the diagram on the hob’s rating label. Ensure phase bridges and neutral connections match the local supply (e.g. 230V single-phase or 400V two-phase).
- Tighten terminals: Inspect the terminal block for heat damage or loose screws. Tighten all connections firmly and replace any discoloured or melted blocks.
- Measure voltage: Using a multimeter (qualified person only), measure the supply voltage at the terminal block. Confirm it is within the range specified by Amica (typically around 220–240V per phase).
- Internal power supply: If supply is correct and E10 persists, the internal low-voltage power supply on the main control board may be faulty. Replace the board.
- Re-test: After correcting wiring or replacing parts, restore power and verify that E10 no longer appears.
