Possible Causes
Loose neutral connection, Faulty internal power supply on control board, Intermittent mains supply, Damaged wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing wiring.
- Check terminal block: Inspect the main terminal block at the rear of the range for loose or burned connections, especially the neutral. Tighten or replace as needed.
- Inspect harness: Follow the wiring from the terminal block to the control board. Look for pinched, burned, or broken wires and repair or replace.
- Measure supply: With power restored (qualified person only), measure voltage at the control board input. Ensure it matches the rating plate.
- Control board replacement: If supply is stable but E41 persists and the display resets or flickers, the electronic control board power supply section is likely faulty and the board should be replaced.
- Re-test: After repairs, verify stable clock operation and that E41 no longer appears.
