Gas hob produces a loud popping noise or uneven flame when operating.

Safety first: Turn off the burner and gas supply before adjustments. Gas adjustments should comply with local regulations.

• Clean burner: Remove and clean the burner head and cap thoroughly to ensure all ports are clear.
• Check gas type: Confirm that the hob is configured for your gas type (natural gas vs LPG). The injectors must match the gas type; if not, have them replaced with the correct set.
• Air shutter adjustment (if fitted): Some Amica burners have adjustable air shutters near the injector. Adjust slightly to achieve a stable blue flame without lifting or yellow tips.
• Gas pressure: If popping persists on all burners, have a gas technician check and adjust the supply pressure and regulator.
