Possible Causes

Aged NTC temperature sensor, Miscalibrated electronic control, Poor door seal causing heat loss, Incorrect rack position or loading

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.

  • Verify with thermometer: Place an accurate oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and run the oven at a known temperature (e.g. 180°C). Compare the reading after 20–30 minutes.
  • Door seal check: Inspect the oven door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if damaged to prevent heat loss.
  • Sensor test: Access the oven temperature sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature. If significantly out of spec, replace the oven temperature sensor.
  • Control calibration: Some Amica models allow temperature offset adjustment via the user menu. Refer to the user manual to adjust calibration by a few degrees if needed.
  • Re-test: After replacing parts or adjusting calibration, repeat the thermometer test to confirm accuracy.
