Possible Causes

Blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Open lamp circuit on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Switch off power and allow the oven to cool before touching the lamp cover.

  • Replace bulb: Unscrew the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually at the rear or side). Remove the bulb and inspect the filament. Replace with the correct high-temperature Ariston oven lamp (typically 25–40 W, E14 or E27 depending on model).
  • Check lamp holder: Inspect the ceramic lamp holder for cracks or burning. If damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
  • Inspect wiring: From the rear of the oven, check the lamp wiring harness for heat damage or loose connectors at the control board.
  • Board check: If a known-good bulb and holder do not work and F08 persists, the lamp relay or triac on the control board may be faulty and the board may need replacement.
