Possible Causes
Incorrect mains voltage (too low or too high), Loose terminal block connections, Internal power supply fault on module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the circuit breaker before opening the terminal cover.
- Check supply: Use a multimeter (if qualified) to verify that the mains voltage at the terminal block matches the rating on the Ariston hob data plate (e.g. 220–240 V single-phase or 400 V 2N).
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear or underside terminal cover. Tighten all terminal screws and check for signs of overheating or melted plastic. Replace the terminal block if damaged.
- Wiring configuration: Ensure the bridging links are installed correctly for your supply type as per the installation diagram. Incorrect linking can cause F13.
- Internal fault: If supply and wiring are correct, the internal power supply on the module may be defective. Replacement of the power module is recommended via an authorised technician.
