Possible Causes
Faulty pan detection sensor circuit on power module, Interference from unsuitable cookware, Loose sensor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the hob from the worktop.
- Check cookware: Use flat-bottomed, induction-compatible pans of the correct diameter for the zone. Avoid warped or very small pans.
- Clean glass: Wipe the hob surface to remove spills or metallic residues that may interfere with sensing.
- Inspect internals: Remove the bottom cover and inspect the sensor wiring (often integrated with the coil harness). Ensure connectors are secure.
- Module replacement: If F15 persists with correct pans and intact wiring, the pan detection circuit on the power module is likely faulty. Replace the module with the correct Ariston part.
