Possible Causes
Failed triac or relay on control board, Shorted element causing board damage, Burnt PCB tracks to element outputs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel or rear cover.
- Check elements first: Test all oven elements for shorts to earth and correct resistance. Replace any shorted elements before replacing the board.
- Inspect control board: Remove the control board and inspect the element output relays/triacs. Look for burn marks, cracked cases, or lifted tracks.
- Board repair vs replace: While individual relays/triacs can sometimes be replaced by an electronics specialist, Ariston generally recommends replacing the entire control board.
- Install new board: Transfer each connector one at a time to the new board, matching positions exactly. Secure the board and reassemble the panel.
- Test: Restore power and run a bake and grill cycle to confirm heating and that F30 is cleared.
