Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan thermostat, Faulty control board fan relay, Shorted wiring causing permanent fan supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing panels.
- Allow full cool-down: Some Ariston ovens keep the fan running until the cavity cools. Wait at least 30–60 minutes to see if it stops normally.
- Check thermostat: Locate the cooling fan thermostat (often on the top of the oven). Test continuity when cold; it should be open. If it remains closed when cold, replace it.
- Inspect relay: On the control board, inspect the fan relay for welded contacts. If stuck closed, the board will need repair or replacement.
- Wiring check: Ensure no wires have been incorrectly bridged during previous repairs.
