Oven interior light stays on even when the door is closed.

Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the switch.

• Locate switch: The door switch is usually located in the front frame of the oven, actuated by the door.
• Check movement: Press the switch plunger by hand; it should move freely and click. Clean around it to remove grease or debris.
• Test continuity: Remove the switch and test with a multimeter. It should change state (open/closed) when pressed.
• Replace switch: If the switch is stuck or tests faulty, install a new Ariston door switch and reconnect wires as originally.
