Residual Heat Indication
Cooktop display shows 'H' or 'h' on one or more zones after switching them off; surface remains hot.

Possible Causes
Normal operation (surface still hot), Stuck residual heat sensor (if persists when cold), Faulty NTC sensor on glass
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Treat any zone showing 'H' as hot. Do not touch the glass surface or place heat‑sensitive items on it.
- Step 1 – Allow to cool: Wait until the zone cools down. The 'H' should disappear automatically when safe temperature is reached.
- Step 2 – Check for abnormal behavior: If 'H' remains displayed even when the cooktop is completely cold, there may be a sensor fault.
- Step 3 – Power reset: Turn off the cooktop at the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If 'H' still appears on a cold zone, service is required.
- Step 4 – Sensor check (technician): Access the underside and test the residual heat sensor or NTC associated with the affected zone. Replace if out of specification.
Do not bypass residual heat indicators; they are a key safety feature.
