Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and main PCB, moisture ingress into control panel, failed touch control PCB, failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the appliance from mains power before removing the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the fault appeared after heavy steam cooking or cleaning, leave the oven powered off for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
- Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control panel. Carefully tilt it forward to expose the ribbon cables and connectors.
- Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cables between the touch panel and main PCB, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion, burnt components, or cracked solder joints on the user interface board. Any visible damage usually requires board replacement.
- Test operation: Reassemble, restore power, and test all buttons and functions. If E06 persists, replace the touch control PCB or main control board according to the service manual.
