Electric oven display shows E06 and touch controls may be unresponsive or erratic.

Safety first: Isolate the appliance from mains power before removing the control panel.

• Dry the panel: If the fault appeared after heavy steam cooking or cleaning, leave the oven powered off for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
• Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control panel. Carefully tilt it forward to expose the ribbon cables and connectors.
• Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cables between the touch panel and main PCB, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
• Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion, burnt components, or cracked solder joints on the user interface board. Any visible damage usually requires board replacement.
• Test operation: Reassemble, restore power, and test all buttons and functions. If E06 persists, replace the touch control PCB or main control board according to the service manual.
