Possible Causes
Failed IGBT transistor on power board, shorted induction coil, damaged power module, wiring fault between coil and module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Induction power modules carry high voltages. Disconnect from mains and do not attempt board-level repair unless you are qualified.
- Identify affected zone: Note which cooking zone triggers E09.
- Access underside: Remove the cooktop from the worktop and remove the bottom cover to expose the induction coils and power modules.
- Inspect coil and wiring: Check the induction coil for cracks, burns, or detached windings. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the coil and power module.
- Module inspection: Look for obvious damage on the power module (burn marks, cracked components). If present, the module must be replaced.
- Replace faulty parts: Replace the induction coil if physically damaged. If the coil and wiring are intact, replace the corresponding induction power module. Follow Beko’s service documentation to match the correct module to the zone.
