Possible Causes
Unsuitable cookware (non-magnetic), warped pan base, loose induction coil mounting, faulty coil sensor circuit on power module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal access is needed for basic checks; keep hands away from hot surfaces.
- Check cookware: Use a flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic pan. Test with a magnet; it should stick firmly to the base.
- Pan size and position: Ensure the pan covers the marked cooking zone and is not too small for the zone.
- Try another pan: Test with a different suitable pan to rule out pan issues.
- Internal inspection (advanced): If E11 persists with correct cookware, disconnect power, remove the cooktop, and inspect the induction coil for loose mounting screws or cracked epoxy. Tighten mounting hardware and check the coil connector for secure fit.
- Module replacement: If the coil and connections are sound, the feedback circuit on the power module may be defective and the module should be replaced.
