• Check power: Verify that the cooktop or range is receiving electrical power (lights or display work). If not, check the breaker and power cord.
• Listen for clicking: When a burner knob is turned to ignite, you should hear rapid clicking. If there is no sound on any burner, suspect the spark module or power supply.
• Inspect igniters: Lift the burner caps and check the ceramic igniter electrodes for cracks or heavy buildup. Clean with a soft brush and ensure the metal tip is not grounded to the burner.
• Check wiring: Under the cooktop, inspect the wires from the spark module to each igniter for burns or disconnections.
• Replace spark module: If wiring and power are good but no burners spark, replace the ignition spark module with the correct Blomberg part.
