Single Burner Ignition Fault
F51 error on gas cooktop; one burner does not spark while others do.

Possible Causes
Cracked or contaminated igniter electrode, Loose igniter wire at that burner, Short to ground at burner base, Faulty output on spark module for that channel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and gas before lifting the cooktop surface.
- Swap components: Swap the burner cap and head with a working burner to rule out a blocked burner head.
- Inspect electrode: Check the ceramic insulator for cracks and ensure the metal tip is close (2–4 mm) to the burner cap.
- Check wiring: Under the top, verify the igniter wire is firmly attached to the electrode and spark module. Look for cuts or burns.
- Clean area: Remove grease and moisture around the igniter that could cause a short to ground.
- Replace igniter: If the electrode is damaged or still does not spark after cleaning and wiring checks, replace the igniter for that burner.
