How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the control panel.
- Dry the control area: If the error appeared after heavy cleaning or a spill, leave power off and allow the control panel to dry for several hours. Do not use heat guns directly on plastic.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and check the flat cable for kinks, cuts, or corrosion. Reseat the connector on the EOC.
- Test with keypad disconnected: Disconnect the keypad ribbon and restore power briefly. If F7 disappears, the keypad/control panel is defective.
- Replace control panel: Install a new Blomberg control panel/touchpad assembly if the keypad is confirmed faulty. If F7 persists with keypad disconnected, replace the EOC.
