How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before accessing internal components.

Listen for fan operation: When the oven is commanded on (before disconnecting power), note whether the cooling fan runs, hums, or is silent.
Access cooling fan: Remove the rear panel to locate the cooling fan assembly near the top of the oven cavity.
Check for obstructions: Ensure insulation, wiring, or debris is not blocking the fan blades. Clear any obstruction.
Test fan motor: With a multimeter, check resistance across the fan motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Also verify supply voltage at the fan when the oven is on (this test should be done only by someone comfortable working with live voltage).
Replace fan assembly: If the motor is defective or noisy, replace the cooling fan assembly. Confirm all wiring is secure and not touching hot surfaces.

F8 error appears; cooling fan may run continuously or oven may not start.
