Possible Causes
Partially clogged burner orifice, Incorrect regulator setting, Misadjusted low-flame screw on valve, Low supply gas pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas and power before removing burner parts. Gas pressure adjustments should be done by a professional.
- Clean burner and orifice: Remove burner head and gently clean the orifice opening with a soft brush. Do not insert metal objects into the orifice.
- Check regulator: Ensure the gas pressure regulator lever or cap is set for the correct gas type.
- Adjust simmer screw: On many Blomberg valves, a small screw near the valve stem adjusts the low flame. Light the burner, turn to low, and use a small screwdriver to increase the flame slightly until it is stable but not too high.
- Call gas technician: If multiple burners are weak, have a technician check supply pressure and regulator performance.
