Possible Causes
Clogged burner ports, Incorrect orifice for gas type (NG vs LPG), Insufficient primary air due to misadjusted air shutter, Low gas pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the burner and allow it to cool. If you suspect incorrect gas type or pressure, contact a gas technician.
- Clean burner: Remove the burner cap and head. Clean all ports with a soft brush and a wooden toothpick. Do not enlarge the holes.
- Check cap placement: Ensure the cap is centered and seated flat.
- Verify gas type: Confirm that the range has been converted correctly for your gas type (natural gas or LPG) using the proper Blomberg conversion kit.
- Adjust air shutter: Some models have adjustable air shutters on the burner tubes. Slightly open the shutter to increase air if flames are lazy and yellow. Adjust while burner is lit, using insulated tools, and make small changes.
