Possible Causes
Aging oven temperature sensor, Miscalibrated EOC, Poor rack placement or load affecting airflow, Door not sealing properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing the sensor or control board.
- Verify with thermometer: Use an accurate oven thermometer to measure actual temperature at several setpoints (e.g., 180°C/350°F).
- Adjust calibration: Many Blomberg EOCs allow temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu (e.g., ±35°F). Follow the user manual to calibrate.
- Check sensor: If the offset required is large, test the sensor resistance at room temperature and replace if out of spec.
- Inspect door gasket: Ensure the door seal is intact and the door closes tightly. Replace the gasket if torn or compressed.
