Possible Causes
Unsuitable cookware (non-magnetic), Pan too small or not centered, Faulty pan detection coil, Defective induction power module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not open the cooktop while connected to mains. High voltage is present on the power module.
- Verify cookware: Use a flat-bottomed ferromagnetic pan (a magnet should stick firmly to the base). Ensure the pan diameter matches the zone size.
- Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the marked cooking zone. Avoid warped or uneven pans that may not be detected correctly.
- Test other zones: Try the same pan on another induction zone. If it works elsewhere, the issue is localized to one zone’s detection circuit.
- Inspect internal connections (advanced): With power OFF and cooktop removed, check the wiring from the affected zone’s induction coil to the power module for loose connectors or burnt contacts. Reseat connectors.
- Replace faulty components: If the coil is physically damaged or measures open circuit, replace the induction coil for that zone. If the coil is fine but E03 persists, the induction power module for that zone may need replacement.
