Possible Causes

Failure of one of the twin power modules, Burnt connector between modules, Overcurrent damage on one side

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: High voltage and high current are present. Disconnect mains and wait for capacitors to discharge before touching the boards.

  • Identify affected side: Note which zones are dead and showing E14. This usually corresponds to one physical power module.
  • Inspect interconnects: Remove the base cover and check the harness and connectors between the two power modules and the UI board. Reseat and secure them.
  • Check for visible damage: Look for burn marks or cracked components on the affected module. If present, replace that module.
  • Replace module as assembly: Candy generally supplies the side power module as a complete unit. Swap the faulty module following the service manual.
