Possible Causes
Foreign object on touch area, Spilled liquid causing continuous touch, Damaged touch sensor, Glass pressing on keypad PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before lifting the glass or adjusting the panel.
- Remove objects and clean: Ensure no pans, cloths, or utensils are resting on the control area. Wipe the glass dry and clean.
- Allow to dry: If liquid has entered around the controls, leave the cooktop powered off for several hours to dry completely.
- Check glass mounting: If the glass is misaligned or overtightened, it can press on the touch PCB. Loosen mounting screws slightly and realign the glass.
- Inspect touch PCB: If E15 persists, remove the glass and inspect the touch PCB for cracks or corrosion. Replace the touch control panel if necessary.
