Possible Causes
Aging detection components on power module, Loose coil mounting, Firmware calibration issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before any internal checks.
- Verify cookware and position: Use flat, induction-compatible pans and center them on the zone. Avoid very small pans on large zones.
- Check glass and coil alignment: Remove the cooktop and ensure the induction coil is correctly centered under the glass markings and firmly fixed.
- Inspect wiring: Reseat the coil connectors on the power module.
- Board replacement: If E18 persists with correct pans and alignment, the detection circuit on the power module may be out of tolerance and the module should be replaced.
