Possible Causes
Failed convection fan motor, Open thermal cut-out, Faulty relay on control board, Wiring harness damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains. Internal components can remain hot; allow the oven to cool.
- Check fan operation: Set the oven to a fan-assisted mode and listen for the fan. If silent and Er02 appears, suspect the fan circuit.
- Inspect thermal cut-out: Access the rear of the oven and locate the thermal cut-out (safety thermostat). Test for continuity; reset if it has a manual reset button, or replace if open.
- Test fan motor: With the fan disconnected, measure its resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor that must be replaced.
- Control board relays: If the fan and cut-out are good, the relay on the control board may be faulty. Replace the oven control board.
