Possible Causes

High residual temperature, Stuck fan relay on control board, Faulty temperature sensor, Fan wired permanently live

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

User observation: It is normal for the fan to run for some minutes after use, but it should not run indefinitely.

User step: If the fan runs for more than 30–40 minutes after last use, switch off the hob at the mains for a few minutes and then back on.

Technician steps:

  • Check the NTC temperature sensors on the heat sinks and coils for correct readings.
  • Inspect the fan control relay or triac on the main control PCB for welded contacts.
  • Verify correct wiring of the fan; it should be controlled, not permanently live.

Replace the control board or fan relay if it is stuck on.
