Hob controls unresponsive; no keys respond but power indicator is lit.

User steps:

• Check if the child lock symbol is lit; if so, follow the manual to unlock (usually press and hold the lock key for several seconds).
• Wipe the control area dry and remove any objects resting on the glass.
• Switch off at the mains for 2–3 minutes and power back on.

Technician steps (if still unresponsive):

• Inspect the touch control PCB and ribbon cable for damage or corrosion.
• Verify low‑voltage supply to the UI board from the main control PCB.
• Replace the touch control module if it does not respond with correct supply present.
