Possible Causes
Failed microprocessor on EOC, Power surge damage, Corrupted firmware, Shorted component on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the control board.
- Power cycle: Turn breaker OFF for 10 minutes, then ON. If F15 reappears immediately, the control is likely defective.
- Inspect for damage: Remove the console cover and inspect the EOC for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or moisture damage.
- Check line voltage: Verify that the range is receiving correct voltage (typically 240 VAC L1-L2, 120 VAC L1-N and L2-N). Incorrect supply can damage controls.
- Replace EOC: If no external cause is found, replace the EOC with the correct Electrolux part number. Transfer wires one at a time to avoid miswiring.
