Possible Causes
Broken oven temperature sensor, Disconnected sensor harness, Open connection at EOC, Damaged wiring from heat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the sensor or rear panel.
- Check sensor mounting: Inside the oven, remove the sensor mounting screws and gently pull the sensor forward. Ensure the connector is fully seated.
- Test continuity: Use a multimeter to check for continuity across the sensor leads. An open reading indicates a failed sensor.
- Inspect harness: From the rear, trace the sensor wires to the EOC. Look for breaks, melted insulation, or disconnected plugs. Repair or replace as needed.
- Replace sensor: Install a new OEM Electrolux sensor if the original is open or damaged.
